Summary Looking for an Assistant Teacher responsible for creating a positive, loving classroom environment where children can learn and grow emotionally, physically intellectually, socially, and spiritually. Duties Assist with classroom duties (cleaning, organizing, prepping for activities), facilitate learning at every opportunity, work closely with lead to plan and implement lessons, encourage explorations in play, follow all state licensing guidelines, and complete mandatory training. Requirements 1. Christian faith exhibited through lifestyle, church involvement and seeking after the Lord. 2. Must love children!3. High School Diploma, or GED Required . Early Childhood Education Certificate or Associates Degree in ECE preferred.4. Minimum of 6 months of experience working in Early Childhood setting.5. Two verified professional references.6. Proof of a negative tuberculosis test, current immunization against measles, rubella, diphtheria and tetanus.7. Current Fingerprint Clearance Card.8. Must be 18 years of age or older. 9. Current certification for CPR and First Aid.10. Read, sign, and abide all Northminster Presbyterian Church and Northminster Christian School policies. Benefits Terms: Hourly; part-time, 25-33 hours per week Starting Wage: $14.70 per hourPaid time off, paid sick leave and paid FMLA, paid training, discounted child-care
