Real Estate Acquisitions Intern - Must be enrolled in college & located in San Diego County We are a high-performance real estate team on the lookout for a real estate acquisitions intern. You’ll hunt, prepare, and assist us in closing deals, and ensure each transaction is smooth and successful. This position will be instrumental in assisting you in getting your feet wet as an introduction to real estate investing. We provide the tools and support our acquisitions interns to perform at their best while learning the tricks of the trade. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who is creative, persuasive, confident, and detail-oriented. Internship position provides educational experience & intern credits which serve as compensation. Responsibilities: • Ensure a smooth transaction between buyers and sellers • Follow up on all leads and requests for information• Assess comparables, property value, and condition through research, outreach, data, site walks, and market trends• Perform due diligence on real estate market and geographical trends, partnership and investment models, and prepare contracts, letter of intent, and other business administration paperwork to ensure sales• Utilize the CRM daily to track all necessary contact interaction details and monitor sales process• Source new lead sources• Analyze opportunities and grow network of professionals to source deals Qualifications:• Prior sales and customer service experience• Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with phone skills to set appointments• You are extremely driven to succeed• Preference for working towards a degree in Real Estate, Business, Communications or Marketing• 1 or more years of prior work experience• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint) About Company: Kara Courtney and her team at True North Associates is a top-producing and growing team serving the greater SoCal markets.
